The Blend
Seven ingredients,
one quiet evening.
Each ingredient is hand-picked, ethically sourced, and chosen for what it removes — not what it adds.
Why TeaTime
You shouldn't have to
guess what's in your tea.
Most brands hide their sourcing and cut their doses. We don't. Here's the difference, side by side.
Our 4.2 g sachets are nearly 2–4× larger than competitors' — you get real, therapeutic dosing from one sachet instead of three.
Our Mission
Our why
(the heart of it).
Founded by Ryan & Nico at Babson College.
Hand-assembled at the estate, shipped direct.
"As ambitious college students, we noticed a large problem on campus — deprivation of sleep, mostly caused by stress and anxiety. We figured: if 20-year-olds without a job are this stressed and not sleeping, the rest of the world must be facing the same problems, if not worse."
So we looked for healthier alternatives — and found a much larger problem at stake. Large, market-dominant corporations sell cheap, low-quality, less-potent dosages, leaving customers feeling misled. All while never telling you where ingredients come from, how farmers are treated, or what sustainability practices they follow.
TeaTime brings transparency to an industry plagued by hidden practices. Our 4.2 g sachets deliver what you actually pay for — real results, real origin, and the entire journey from Uruwala Estate to your doorstep, in the open.

The people behind it
Meet the
founders.
Ryan & Nico started TeaTime at Babson College after living the problem themselves — stress, anxiety and lost sleep. They went straight to the source to fix it.

Telling the TeaTime story — transparency, dose and origin — to a room of investors.

Cup after cup, dialing in the blend on campus.

Heritage
Three hundred years,
six generations.
Drag → through three centuries of tea-making on a single hillside.
A single hillside in the central highlands of what was then Ceylon. The first tea plants take root.
The estate is now run by the family's fifth generation. Hand-plucking remains the only harvest method.
Ceylon becomes Sri Lanka. The estate transitions to fully workers-owned cooperative.
Uruwala becomes one of the earliest certified-organic tea estates in South Asia.
Ceylon Highland Tea receives Geographical Indication status — a legal seal of origin.
Six-ingredient anxiety blend, hand-assembled at the estate. Three centuries, one cup.

Nothing hidden
Straight from
the estate.
Real photos from Uruwala — the people, the leaves and the spice behind every sachet. This is the journey most brands never show you.

Hand-plucking on the highland slopes — two leaves and a bud, the way it's been done for 300 years.

Every leaf chosen by hand. No machines, no shortcuts.

Each batch is tasted and graded on the estate before it's ever bagged.

True Ceylon cinnamon, peeled and rolled by hand at Uruwala.

Cut, sorted, and laid to dry — the same spice that goes into every sachet.

What we believe
Six things,
in this order.
The Ritual
Pour.
Steep four minutes.
Exhale.
Best enjoyed 30–60 minutes before bed. Drop the sachet, watch it bloom — amber first, then gold, then deep honey. Caffeine free, so the only thing it speeds up is your shoulders dropping.

One sachet, one cup, once daily, ideally 30–60 minutes before bed. Some customers steep a second cup in the morning for stress — it's caffeine free, so it won't keep you up.
Heat water to about 95 °C. Place one 4.2 g pyramid sachet in your cup, pour over, and steep 4 minutes. Best enjoyed 30–60 minutes before bed.
Three things: dose, origin, and honesty. Our sachets are 4.2 g (nearly 2–4× larger than typical 1–2.5 g sachets) so you get a therapeutic dose from a single sachet. Every ingredient is traceable to Sri Lanka, and we show you the farms and families. No hidden sourcing, no filler.
Because 4.2 g of organic, GI-protected botanicals costs more than 2 g of commodity-grade dust — and 50+ families at Uruwala get paid fairly. You pay for what's in the sachet, not for marketing.
It's a promise: better sleep tonight, a calmer mind tomorrow. We believe rest is the most underrated form of progress, and a nightly ritual — not a quick fix — is what makes it stick.
Safety: If pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a medical condition, consult your healthcare professional before use.
